Michael is a senior commercial and insolvency lawyer with a wealth of experience from his broad banking law, insolvency, and commercial practice, including related litigation. Michael has acted as lead counsel in lending and insolvency matters originating in Saskatchewan, and in national transactions. He is the Chair of the firm's Board of Executive Partners.
Ian is a senior litigation partner, with a robust practice acting for financial institutions and other creditors. He has appeared before various levels of court in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, and the Supreme Court of Canada. Ian was awarded "Lawyer of the Year" (2022) in the area of Insolvency and Financial Restructuring Law (Saskatoon) by "Best Lawyers in Canada." He is a director of the Insolvency Institute of Canada and is actively involved with that institution in various roles.
Craig is a litigation partner in the Saskatoon office, with a focus on insolvency and restructuring, commercial and construction litigation, and insurance defence. In the scope of his practice, he regularly acts for financial institutions, Licensed Insolvency Trustees, financially distressed companies, and other creditors and stakeholders. Craig is Chair of the firm’s Insolvency and Restructuring Practice Team and a member of the Executive Committee.
Paul is a partner at McDougall Gauley, practicing primarily in the areas of insolvency, restructuring, debt enforcement, and construction law. He acts for a variety of financial institutions, Licensed Insolvency Trustees, landlords, distressed companies, secured creditors and construction companies. Paul has represented clients before the Courts of Saskatchewan and in commercial arbitrations.
