McDougall Gauley is proud to announce four new lawyers joining the firm. After articling with the firm, Joy M. Brailean, Shaan Kapila, Jenna L. Sabine, and Tenielle A. Workman were called to the bar in May and June of 2026.
Joy maintains a broad litigation practice with a focus on civil and commercial litigation. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta, graduating with distinction and first-class standing. Joy completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Regina, where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration with distinction.
Shaan has a broad corporate commercial practice. He has experience with business sales and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, real estate transactions and real estate development. Shaan earned his Juris Doctor with Distinction from the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan. Prior to attending law school, Shaan completed his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Saskatchewan.
Jenna maintains a broad practice with focus on corporate and commercial law, real estate transactions, and estate planning services. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan. During law school, she competed in the G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot.
Tenielle maintains a general litigation practice including civil, commercial and estate litigation. Her litigation experience includes formal and informal dispute resolution, court actions and arbitration. Tenielle earned her Juris Doctor from the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan and her Certificate of Common Law in French at the University of Ottawa. Prior to law school, Tenielle received her Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology and a Certificate in Law and Society from the University of Regina.
