Overview

Fashia Richards has a broad corporate and commercial practice, with additional commercial litigation experience related to enforcement of debt, insolvency and restructuring. Fashia acts for:

  • financial institutions with lending, security and enforcement of security;
  • parties to commercial transactions;
  • corporations seeking ongoing and transactional advice;
  • creditors seeking to obtain and enforce judgments against individuals, corporations and farmers (including  in relation to The Saskatchewan Farm Security Act, the Farm Debt Mediation Act, and in proceedings involving the Saskatchewan Farm Land Security Board); and
  • parties involved in insolvency and restructuring proceedings, including Receiverships.

Fashia has represented clients in Provincial Court, the Court of King’s Bench and the Court of Appeal in civil and bankruptcy matters.
