Ellen is an associate lawyer at the firm’s Saskatoon office. She maintains a practice in general litigation. Ellen has represented clients before all levels of the Court in Saskatchewan. Ellen has experience in providing legal services in a variety of areas, including: civil litigation, criminal law, estate planning and administration, and insurance law.
Ellen joined the firm as an associate lawyer in 2022 after completing a clerkship with the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law, graduating with Distinction. Ellen was a student in the Certificate in Common Law in French program and did one third of her law degree in French through the University of Ottawa. Through this program, she competed in the 2021 Michel Bastarache Moot competition, earning third place. Ellen was also a volunteer with Pro Bono Students Canada during all three years of law school, and was a student project co-ordinator for two years.
Prior to law school, Ellen obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction, majoring in French Language, with a minor in Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan. In her spare time, Ellen enjoys travelling, reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
