Ian A. Sutherland, K.C. re-elected to Insolvency Institute of Canada Board of Directors

McDougall Gauley LLP's Ian A. Sutherland, K.C. has been re-elected to the Insolvency Institute of Canada's (IIC) Board of Directors.

Ian is a senior litigation partner, with a robust practice acting for financial institutions and other creditors. He has appeared before various levels of court in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, and the Supreme Court of Canada. Ian has been recognized by "Best Lawyers in Canada" in several practice areas and was awarded "Lawyer of the Year" (2022) in Insolvency and Financial Restructuring Law (Saskatoon).

The IIC is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the insolvency process as well as the professional quality of insolvency and bankruptcy in Canada. The IIC Board of Directors oversees the activities of the organization in their endeavor to achieve this goal.
