Kennedy (Keni) is an associate lawyer at the firm’s Saskatoon office. She maintains a practice in general litigation with a focus on family law. Keni has appeared before all levels of Court and has experience in alternative dispute resolution streams.
Keni joined McDougall Gauley in 2025 as an associate lawyer. She maintains a general litigation practice with a focus on family law.
Keni has experience with a variety of family law matters, including complex spousal and child support issues, parenting and decision-making matters, division of property, and interjurisdictional proceedings. In addition to her Court experience, Keni has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution streams, including mediation and arbitration.
Keni received her Juris Doctor (with Distinction) from the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan. During her time at the College of Law, Keni served as both an Editor and Managing Editor of the Saskatchewan Law Review.
Upon graduation from the College of Law, Keni completed a clerkship with the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan where she clerked for Justice Georgina Jackson, Justice Jeffery Kalmakoff, and former Justice Brian Barrington-Foote.
After being called to the bar in Saskatchewan in June 2022, Keni relocated and was called to bar in Alberta bar in October 2022.
After a 3-year hiatus of practicing law in Alberta, Keni is happy to be back in the land of living skies.
