Calen practices in the areas of labour and employment law, general civil litigation and administrative law. Calen strives to provide practical strategies and solutions to business, non-profit and government clients.

Overview

Calen (he/him/his) advises in all areas of labour and employment law including:

  • Employment agreements;
  • Workplace policies;
  • Employment standards;
  • Discipline and dismissals;
  • Compensation and benefit matters;
  • Reorganizations;
  • Workplace investigations;
  • Bargaining and collective agreement disputes;
  • Human rights matters; and
  • Workplace safety and workers’ compensation matters.

Calen also has general civil and commercial litigation experience with an emphasis on intellectual property, shareholder and agriculture disputes. He also advises regarding professional regulatory and discipline matters.

Calen appears before various administrative tribunals including the Saskatchewan Labour Relations Board. He has appeared before all levels of court in Saskatchewan.
