McDougall Gauley LLP's Jacqueline Sirois participated in a new radio segment (Le droit de savoir) with Radio-Canada Saskatchewan.
Jacqueline participated in the first radio interview for Le droit de savoir on September 24, 2025. Jacqueline will continue once a month with this segment, exploring new topics relevant to francophones in the province of Saskatchewan with an aim at making the law easier to understand for everyday people. This first interview explored minority language educational rights protected under section 23 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and how they apply in Saskatchewan.
Jacqueline is a proud Fransaskoise (a term describing the French Canadian and French-speaking population of Saskatchewan) lawyer, active in the community by volunteering her time on boards and at youth activities. She maintains a practice focused on public, administrative, constitutional, and criminal law. Jacqueline clerked with the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan, where she was assigned to assist Chief Justice Leurer and Justice Drennan. She graduated from McGill University Faculty of Law in 2024 and was called to the bar in 2025.
Jacqueline is proud to be given this platform to share legal information with the French-speaking population in Saskatchewan.

Jacqueline a participé à la première entrevue radio, « Le droit de savoir », le 24 septembre 2025. Jacqueline continuera à participer une fois par mois à ce segment, explorant de nouveaux sujets pertinents pour les Fransaskois dans le but de rendre le droit plus accessible aux gens ordinaires. Cette première entrevue portait sur les droits à l'instruction dans la langue de la minorité protégés par l'article 23 de la Charte canadienne des droits et libertés et leur application en Saskatchewan.
Jacqueline est une fière avocate Fransaskoise qui s'implique activement dans la communauté en donnant bénévolement de son temps au sein de conseils d'administration et dans le cadre d'activités pour les jeunes. Elle exerce principalement dans les domaines du droit public, administratif, constitutionnel et pénal. Jacqueline a été auxiliaire juridique à la Cour d'appel de la Saskatchewan, où elle a été chargée d'assister le juge en chef Leurer et la juge Drennan. Elle a obtenu son diplôme de la faculté de droit de l'Université McGill en 2024 et a été admise au barreau en 2025.
Jacqueline est fière de disposer de cette plateforme pour partager des informations juridiques avec la population francophone de la Saskatchewan.
