McDougall Gauley LLP's Jacqueline Sirois to clerk at the Supreme Court of Canada

McDougall Gauley LLP is pleased to announce that Jacqueline Sirois will clerk at the Supreme Court of Canada (SCC), starting August 10, 2026. She will be clerking for the Honourable Justice Moreau.

Each judge at the SCC selects up to three law clerks yearly to assist them with research on legal issues, preparing memoranda of law, reviewing case files, and other tasks related to their work at the Court. Selection as a law clerk for the SCC is based on strong academic achievement, excellent research and writing skills, and diverse perspectives and experiences.

Jacqueline Sirois is a bilingual litigator practising public law, with a focus on administrative, constitutional, and criminal law. Jacqueline has previous experience clerking at the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan, where she clerked for the Honourable Chief Justice Leurer and the Honourable Justice Drennan, and at the Superior Court of Québec (Criminal Division), where she clerked for the Honourable Justice Downs. She earned dual degrees in common law and civil law from McGill University. Jacqueline is a proud and active member of the Fransaskoise community in Saskatchewan.
