McDougall Gauley LLP's Jacqueline Sirois participated as a panelist at the Agora on Access to Justice in French. This event was hosted by the Ministers' Council on the Canadian Francophonie and took place from June 26-27, 2026.
The panel, titled "Next steps: Avenues of action", was moderated by the Honourable Mary T. Moreau, Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada. Jacqueline joined the panel with the Honourable Réjean Aucoin, Senator for Nova Scotia, and the Honourable Marianne Rivoalen, Chief Justice of Manitoba. This final panel focused on the priorities for access to justice in French in Canada based on their personal reflections and those that emerged throughout the event.
Jacqueline is a bilingual litigator practising public law, with a focus on administrative, constitutional, and criminal law. She has experience clerking at trial and appellate levels, including at the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan. She earned dual degrees in common law and civil law from McGill University. She is a proud and active member of the Fransaskoise community in Saskatchewan.
