McDougall Gauley LLP's Erin M.S. Kleisinger, K.C. has been appointed by the Minister of Justice to the Law Foundation of Saskatchewan Board of Directors, effective November 14, 2025.
Erin is a partner at the firm's Regina office. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada in the areas of Banking and Finance Law, Insolvency and Financial Restructuring Law, and Education Law. She received her Queen’s (now King’s) Counsel designation in 2015.
Erin was a member of the Council of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada from 2018-2025, and served as the Federation’s President in 2024. She is the Co-Chair of the Federation / Canadian Council of Law Deans Joint Working Group on Legal Education and Entry to Practice. Erin is also a former Bencher and Past-President of the Law Society of Saskatchewan.
Erin currently serves on the Board of the Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education, and the Board of the Canadian Lawyers’ Insurance Association.
Established in 1973, the Law Foundation of Saskatchewan is a non-profit organization which directs funding towards legal education, research, access, and resources.
