At McDougall Gauley LLP, we are looking for people with drive, integrity, and attention to detail. In return, we want to give you the knowledge, guidance, and experience to develop your legal career in private practice.
Postings for articling positions will be available in May of each year, while postings for summer student positions are usually available in late September/early October.
What you need to know
We take pride in the quality of skills our lawyers possess and the work we provide. McDougall Gauley offers over 20 practice areas. As a student we attempt to expose you to as many areas of practice as possible throughout your time with us.
Top Three Tips!
1. Be Professional
Every detail matters. Dress professionally when attending our reception. Ensure all correspondence, whether by email or phone, is professional. Proof read your materials before hitting send. Ensure your online presence is professional.
2. Make yourself stand out
Get to know our recruitment team by attending our reception and engaging with lawyers at events throughout the year. Tell us about your non-law related experiences – what makes you interesting?
3. McDougall Gauley is a proud Saskatchewan Firm
Tell us why you love Saskatchewan, love the city we live in, and why you have no intention of moving anywhere else. At McDougall Gauley we are committed to Saskatchewan and we want to know you are too.
BONUS TIP: When you send us your application materials, put everything into one file – cover letter, résumé, transcripts etc. Do not attach several files to your email.
