Lawyer Profile
Rick's litigation practice focuses on civil claims, including class actions. He represents a large variety of international, national and provincial clients, as well as local business and individual clientele. He has appeared in all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada, Federal Court of Canada, all courts in Saskatchewan, as well as in the courts of Alberta and Ontario. His services cover a wide range of actions, including insurance defence, class actions, intellectual property disputes, professional negligence, and commercial and construction litigation.
Rick also provides services as an arbitrator, and has sat on appointment as a senior federal adjudicator for the Indian Residential School claims. He was recently appointed an inquest coroner for Saskatchewan. As well, he is counsel or consultant to numerous civic, provincial and national boards and agencies.
