Profile
Nancy Hopkins practices business law, with an emphasis on taxation law and corporate governance.

She currently serves as a director of a number of corporations. On the Board of Cameco Corporation (CCO on the TSX; CCJ on the NYSE), she chairs the Nominating, Governance & Risk Committee and is a member of the Audit Committee. Nancy is the Chair of the Board of Governors of the University of Saskatchewan. She is also the Chair of the Board of the Saskatoon Airport Authority. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Growthworks Canadian Fund Inc. and Growthworks Opportunity Fund Inc., where she chairs the Independent Review Committee & the Audit Committee. As a member of the Board of Directors of the CPPIB, she Chairs the Governance Committee.

Nancy was involved for many years with the chartered accounting profession, most recently serving as public director of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants from 1998 to 2004. During that time she served on the Public Interest and Integrity Committee of the CICA for the development of the new Independence Rules for the C.A. profession. She was made an honorary member of the Saskatchewan Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1997.

Seminars & Presentations
Nancy has presented many Continuing Legal Education Programs in the
areas of tax, corporate law and personal property security. She lectured in
tax at the Bar Admission Course from 1984 to 1989 and has presented
papers at conferences of the Canadian Tax Foundation.
Nancy was a Sessional Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of
Saskatchewan, for a number of years teaching wills and corporate planning.
